The program reviews key aspects of interventional cardiology, including:
Procedure Environment and Workflow: Overview of catheterization laboratory organization, patient preparation pathways, team coordination, and the sequence of care processes surrounding cardiovascular interventions.
Clinical Decision Considerations: Discussion of treatment pathway selection, recognition of clinical changes during procedures, and general approaches to complication awareness and response planning.
Pre-Procedure Planning: Considerations related to assessment frameworks, risk stratification principles, documentation, and preparation prior to intervention.
Post-Procedure Management and Follow-Up: Monitoring considerations, recovery guidance, medication planning concepts, and follow-up care pathways after cardiovascular interventions.
