The Gastrointestinal Surgery Program provides participants with an overview of contemporary gastrointestinal surgical care delivered through a patient‑centered approach.
The program highlights how diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, and multidisciplinary coordination are integrated into gastrointestinal disease management.
Participants are introduced to a wide spectrum of gastrointestinal conditions through structured case discussions, including esophageal, gastric, intestinal, colorectal, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and splenic disorders. Emphasis is placed on understanding indications for different treatment approaches, peri‑care considerations, and follow‑up strategies.
The program covers clinical pathways related to reflux disease, hernias, bowel disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal conditions, hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases, anorectal disorders, and gastrointestinal oncology. Attention is also given to the role of minimally invasive and endoscopic approaches within modern gastrointestinal care frameworks.
Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy applications, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and gastrointestinal stent use, are reviewed in the context of evaluation and supportive management.
The overall aim is to broaden understanding of gastrointestinal surgery care models, enhance clinical reasoning, and support informed comprehension of multidisciplinary gastrointestinal management.

2 Months: 7,000 Euro

Fellowship application process :
- The Required Documents :
1) CV.
2) University Diploma .
3) Speciality Diploma (Resident doctors can apply also ).
4) Any other international Exams.
5) Cover Letter
Application fees : 500€ Refundable
We have partnerships with more than 50 university hospiatals around Turkey . Evaluation process take from 30 to 90 days , if you have been accepted we will send you the acceptance letter from the university hospital , then you have to complete the payment , if not you'll get the application fees back.
