Endoscopic Ultrasound Course
Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) is a medical imaging modality that combines endoscopy and ultrasound to support evaluation of the digestive tract and surrounding organs. It is commonly used in the assessment of pancreatic, gastric, and biliary conditions, as well as a range of inflammatory and structural gastrointestinal disorders.
The EUS Program is designed to provide participants with a clear understanding of how endoscopic ultrasound is applied within clinical care pathways. The program focuses on indications for EUS, image interpretation, and the role of EUS findings in diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning.
Participants are exposed to EUS through structured case reviews and consultant‑guided discussions, with emphasis on recognizing key anatomical features, understanding pathological findings, and reviewing therapeutic applications such as EUS‑guided interventions.
The overall aim is to support confident understanding of EUS‑based diagnostic and management approaches and their integration into gastrointestinal care.
