Endoscopic ear surgery is a minimally invasive procedure that is used to treat conditions of the ear, such as chronic ear infections, damage to the ear canal, chronic ear drainage, and eustachian tube dysfunction. This procedure allows the doctor to access the inner ear and assess any damage or obstructions by using an endoscope, which is a flexible tube with a camera attached to the end. The doctor can use this to take pictures of the ear, remove any obstruction, and insert topical medications to treat the condition. The objective of endoscopic ear surgery is to improve the patient's hearing and reduce their symptoms as quickly as possible.
