The Circumcision Training Course aims to equip medical professionals with comprehensive theoretical in circumcision procedures. The course ensures that participants are able to perform circumcisions with high standards of safety, clinical accuracy, and cultural awareness.
Course Objectives
Understand the historical, religious, and cultural context of circumcision.
Recognize clinical indications and contraindications.
Apply appropriate anesthesia techniques and patient preparation.
Learn and practice multiple surgical methods (classical, clamp, stapler, sutureless).
Manage post-operative care and potential complications.
Avoid common procedural mistakes through evidence-based practices.

Global Prevalence– Circumcision rates around the world– Approaches by WHO, CDC, and other health institutions
II. Clinical Knowledge
Definition and Indications– Phimosis, paraphimosis, balanitis– Urinary tract infections– Family or social reasons– Medical necessity
Contraindications– Hypospadias, epispadias– Coagulation disorders– Congenital genital anomalies– Active infection
Preoperative Evaluation and Preparation– Physical examination– Family briefing and consent– Anesthesia planning– Antiseptic preparation and positioning
Anesthesia Methods– Local anesthesia (ring block, dorsal penile block)– General anesthesia (induction, inhalation)– Sedation and premedication
