The objective of The Fellowship of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery is to provide specialized training and education to surgeons who want to enhance their skills in performing minimally invasive spine surgery procedures. This fellowship program aims to equip surgeons with the necessary knowledge, techniques, and expertise required to effectively and safely perform these advanced surgical techniques.
Minimally invasive spine surgery (MISS) is a modern approach to spinal surgery that involves smaller incisions, specialized instruments, and advanced imaging technology. The goal is to minimize tissue damage, reduce postoperative pain, shorten hospital stays, and speed up recovery compared to traditional open surgery.
The fellowship program focuses on teaching surgeons the latest advancements and techniques in MISS, including spine microsurgery, percutaneous techniques, and minimally invasive fusion procedures. Fellows will gain experience in a variety of spine surgeries under the guidance of experienced faculty members.
During the fellowship, surgeons will learn how to evaluate patients with spinal conditions, diagnose the underlying problems, and determine the most appropriate treatment plan. They will also learn about the indications, contraindications, potential complications, and outcomes associated with various minimally invasive spine surgery procedures.
The fellowship program typically involves a combination of case disscution, live surgical training in the operating room, and clinical rotations. Surgeons will have the opportunity to observe and assist in surgeries with supervision of experienced mentors.
Upon completion of the fellowship, surgeons should be proficient in a wide range of minimally invasive spine surgeries, be well-versed in patient selection, and possess the necessary skills to manage any potential complications. Application fees : 500€ Refundable

Evaluation process take from 30 to 90 days , if you have been accepted we will send you the acceptance letter from the university hospital , then you have to complete the payment , if not you'll get the application fees back.
